A reunion between two long-estranged sisters turns revealing, erotic and violent in a rural Michigan town, the film is in the tradition of Darren Aronofsky's "Black Swan", Ingmar Bergman's "Persona" meets Single White Female.

The story focuses on Anna, a withdrawn classical cellist, who opts to invite her extroverted, long-estranged sister to mend their relationship. Initially, their reunion is bumpy but warm, mixed with past tensions and fond childhood recollections. But as their visit continues, each sister finds out just how dangerous and seductive their differences are.
